  • Marie Horn

Marie Horn retired after 30 years of service as the Finance Director for Ignacio School District (ISD). Alongside her professional career, Marie and her husband successfully ran their own business, Brothers Concrete Company, for over 30 years.

Her community involvement extends beyond her work life. Marie volunteered on a committee that helped pass a Mill Levy for the ISD, demonstrating her dedication to supporting local education. Additionally, she has been an active member with 4-H, serving as a leader for 3 years and as a project leader on numerous occasions. Even after 30 years, she continues to volunteer with 4H occasionally.

  • Caitlyn Grandon

Caitlyn Grandon is the Program Coordinator for Ignacio Youth Services (IYS), a division of Southern Colorado Community Action Agency (formerly SUCAP). She has worked in Ignacio since August 2013 and brings over a decade of experience supporting youth and families through community-based, prevention-focused programming. Caitlyn is passionate about providing equitable out-of-school time programming to youth and ensuring community spaces remain accessible, welcoming, and responsive to local needs.

Caitlyn joined the ELHI Community Center Board of Directors, where she currently serves as Secretary, because Ignacio Youth Services is an anchor tenant of the facility and she strongly believes in the importance of the services and organizations housed at ELHI. She values ELHI as a vital hub for community connection and support and is committed to helping strengthen its long-term impact.

Caitlyn lives in Mancos, Colorado with her family - including two dogs, and two cats. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, gardening, spending time outdoors, watching football, and playing fantasy football.
